Most recently, Mia served as the principal standby in the Off Broadway production of Fixing Frankie, directed by Joe Langworth and Michael Blatt with music supervision by Steve Marzullo and music direction by Micah Young. She covered all female-identifying principal roles and appeared as "Mom" November 12-14.

About Mia

With extensive experience in both performance and arts education, Mia Scarpa is a professional actress and singer based in New York City.

 

The granddaughter of prominent opera impresarios, Maestro Francesco and Hilda Riggio, Mia is trained in both classical and musical theatre styles by their protégé, Paul Elkin. 

​

Her dance training is vast and well-rounded. Although ballet is her first love, Mia has trained in all styles of dance. She is an experienced teacher of dance, yoga, vocal performance, and English.
